leafy poncho

Simple cape or poncho.
Using two contrasting colours.
Knitted in the rounds. From top to bottom.
Pattern offering two version one for Dk yarn and one for sock weight yarn both are mix with second strand of kid mohair., which allowing to use bigger needles.

Needles
For DK weight 4.5 mm / 4 mm DPNs or shorter circular needles for the collar
For 4ply 4 mm / 3.5 mm or shorter circular needles

Yarn
1 strand of DK BFL yarn or 1 strand of 4 ply ( = fingering or sock weight yarn)
1 strand of silk mohair (Fluffy) (optional)

230 g of beige DK weight
230 g of blue DK weight
50 g blue kid mohair
50 g beige kid mohair

Gauge 23 rounds and 14.5 stitches for 10 cm x 10 cm

4ply (sock weight or fingering weight)
120 g of blue (NSW Merino)
120 g of beige
60 g of blue kid mohair (Fluffy)
60 g of beige kid mohair

Gauge 29 rounds and 20 stitches for 10 cm x 10 cm
